Beach Living Kill Devil Hills

BEACH

The pristine beaches of the Outer Banks are the biggest draw for choosing this vacation destination.  The high dunes and wide beaches of the Outer Banks beaches provide plenty of room for all. The Outer Banks is comprised of about 409 square miles of water and offers almost any water sport activity you can imagine. Surfing, parasailing, wind surfing and kite surfing and kite boarding activities have all contributed to the Outer Banks designation as the “Kite Boarding and Windsurfing Capital of the East Coast”.  The beaches of the Outer Banks are also the perfect for skim boarding, jet skiing, sailing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. While in your ocean kayak you can explore the salt marshes or paddle beyond the breakers and discover a pod of dolphin.  Kayaks, surf boards and almost any beach toy you need can be rented from a variety of beach rental companies and delivered to the door of your Outer Banks vacation rental home or condominium.

Fishing

Surf fishing in the Outer Banks is as simple as it gets.  From the front of your Outer Banks vacation rental you can cast a line in the surf.  Bait and tackle shops offer supplies, bait, tips, and tide charts and can be found within a few blocks of your Outer Banks rental home or condominium.
